How Build a Hooper works

One run is four moves, repeated until you've got a player good enough to chase a ring. Takes about 10–15 minutes.

01

Spin a team

Every round lands on a real team-season. Current teams are the normal pull; classic teams show up as rare gold Special pulls with all-time ratings.

02

Steal one rating

Pick a player from that team and take exactly one of his ratings — his real number becomes yours. That slot is now locked.

03

Do it 13 times

One steal per round across 13 attributes. You can't use the same player twice, so every pick is a trade-off between what you want and what's open.

04

Simulate the season

Join a current team and play 82 games — sim in chunks or watch them live. Survive the Play-In and playoffs, then get your record, awards, and a shareable card.

Three modes

Classic

Every rating visible, 3 rerolls. Start here.

Blind

Position rolled for you, ratings hidden till the end.

Chaos

Everything hidden, only a few attributes open each round.

Good to know

Can I play Build a Hooper on mobile?

Yep. It's built for the phone — spin, steal, and sim all work with taps, nothing to install.

Do I need an account to play?

No. Jump straight in. An account only unlocks the global leaderboard and saving your runs across devices.

How long does one run take?

About 10–15 minutes. Thirteen quick draft rounds, then you sim the 82-game season in chunks — or watch games live if you've got time.

Can I leave and come back to a build?

Yeah. Your run saves on this device automatically, so you can close the tab mid-draft and pick up right where you left off.

Can I share my hooper?

When a run finishes you get a card you can share as an image, plus a plays-like comp to a real player. Post it and make a friend beat it.

How do I get on the leaderboard?

Log in and finish a season. Rings rank first, then wins, then overall — so a title jumps you straight up the board.
